This session will to focus on the changes seen in last 5 years in clinical trial design, and drug registration strategies, bringing out some of the recent controversial decisions and the value of small incremental improvements in survival. Speakers will discuss this from the trialist/physician perspective and also patient (PPI) perspective. The final speaker will discuss the challenges and opportunities in the change in trial design seen with immunotherapy studies– with the rise and possible fall of the “seamless phase I study”.
