For many years, stratified treatment of colorectal cancer has proved difficult. Many of the key mutational drivers e.g. KRAS, P53, APC do not have drugs that “actionable” drugs and unlike melanoma actionable mutations like BRAF did not respond to BRAF inhibitors. In this session, we explore exciting recent development in preclinical and the clinic. The speakers will present data showing new preclinical models that may allow us to find novel therapies that can be progressed to trials. Data will also be presented showing exciting early clinical data that combinations may work in BRAF mutant colorectal cancer.
