Cancer clinical trials have pioneered innovation across UK clinical research with the development of adaptive, platform and precision-medicine oriented trials. The government has recently published its vision for the Future of UK Clinical Research and it is opportune for trialists (clinical, methodologists, trial managers) to take a strategic look at aspects most relevant to cancer, and to recognize opportunities and challenges. Such discussions can inform subsequent consensus work to revolutionize our ambition across cancer disease-types, embed technology, innovation and data integration, and avoid duplication of effort. They can also be used to future-proof trials against pandemic-related disruption, all whilst embracing the desired patient-centered approach. This session will provide an opportunity to hear from different stakeholders, and to provide your own contribution to help define the future vision for UK cancer trials.

This session is supported by Takeda, however, they have had no input into the content.
