This session will see the Festival’s Scientific Committee Chair, Prof. Rob Bristow, in conversation with Prof. Peter Johnson, Professor of Medical Oncology at University of Southampton and National Clinical Director for Cancer, NHS England and NHS Improvement, discuss research priorities and opportunities, specifically in relation to the NHS Long Term Plan and how NCRI Partners and the NHS can best work together.
The conversation will continue with Ms Banji Adewumi, who is Director of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at University of Manchester to discuss key challenges and opportunities for the EDI agenda in research and health.
Prof. Bristow will close by drawing attention to key themes and sessions not to miss during the week of the NCRI Festival.
