This session will cover the rapidly expanding area of molecular radiotherapy (MRT). As MRT is a highly multidisciplinary practice, several short presentations will be given to cover clinical developments, radiation physics and radiochemistry. The focus will be on how the UK can best take advantage of the opportunities presented by these developments, particularly regarding developing a national infrastructure for service delivery and translational research. Participants will gain insight into the range of radiotherapeutics available and on the horizon, with comparisons between how these are used, and how their use can be optimised. This will present opportunities for collaborative and multi-disciplinary research which will be encouraged at a future CTRad Trials Proposals Workshop.
