This session will focus on the role of immune-based precision medicine and technology. Professor Shai Shen-Orr from Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, is an expert in systems immunology and his lab’s work focuses on the development of novel analytics for studying the immune system. Professor Shen-Orr will discuss how his work is providing a clearer understanding of the intricate complexities of our immune system, how immunity can be influenced by genetics and environmental factors, and the potential health implications resulting from these factors, especially in the context of cancer research and precision medicine.
